PAST
GATHERINGS
June
2006 took us to Chester, Virginia for a three day Gathering. We were happy
to see cousins that we had not seen for the two years since the last
Gathering, and we met new cousins that joined us for their first time. We
visited the cemeteries of Henry Clay, the elder who died in 1760, his son
Rev. Eleazar Clay and grandson Phineas Clay. We heard the stories of the
petrified man of Chesterfield County, the kidnapping of two Indian
children by Henry Clay, and of the searches of our cousins.
