CEMETERY PROJECT

This is a project of the Clay Family Society to identify and locate cemeteries where Clay ancestors are buried. We hope to provide as many details as possible for researchers to locate the headstones and graves.

Select a STATE below, which will take you to a list of cemeteries for that state where we have data available for any Clay graves.

We do plan to provide an index or search function at some point in the future, however it may be awhile before that happens... unless we have a volunteer to help work on that project!!

US States:
[Alabama] [Alaska] [Arizona] [Arkansas] [California] [Colorado] [Connecticut] [Delaware] [Florida] [Georgia] [Hawaii] [Idaho] [Illinois] [Indiana] [Iowa] [Kansas] [Kentucky] [Louisiana] [Maine] [Maryland] [Massachusetts] [Michigan] [Minnesota] [Mississippi] [Missouri] [Montana] [Nebraska] [Nevada] [New Hampshire] [New Jersey] [New Mexico] [New York] [North Carolina] [North Dakota] [Ohio] [Oklahoma] [ Oregon] [Pennsylvania] [Rhode Island] [South Carolina] [South Dakota] [Tennessee] [Texas] [Utah] [Vermont] [Virginia] [Washington] [West Virginia] [Wisconsin] [Wyoming]

While viewing these records, you will find individuals who served their country and are buried in both military and civilian cemeteries. Many individuals buried in civilian cemeteries are recognized for their military service on their grave stones, while others do not.

We want to recognize all our Clay ancestors that have served in the Armed Forces for their contribution and sacrifice to making our country great and the freedoms we enjoy today.

Thank you to those still living, those still serving, and especially those that gave their lives serving their country.

If you wish to contribute your Clay information,
please contact the Cemetery Project coordinator;
Linda Pittano

Requirements for posting your information:
Provide a readable, quality photograph of the headstone and cemetery entrance.
Provide information about the cemetery, location, directions, condition,
and access requirements for any private cemeteries.

We may contact you if we have questions or need  additional information.
